I am starting to make Expression Design 3 Video Tutorials that will teach you how to do some basic stuff.
The first video teaches you how to add a Drop Shadow to a rectangle. A Drop Shadow also looks very cool when applied to text. Therefore, that will be the next Tutorial.
Below is a list of tentative Videos using Expression Design 3. If you would like to make a request, please contact me and describe what it is you would like to learn. Be as descriptive as possible.

Expression
Design 3:
Set up a New Document & Add a Drop ShadowThis video tutorial teaches you how to properly set up a New Canvas using the correct Resolution based on the medium.
Resolution of images is referred to as PPI or Pixels Per Inch. Images on the web should be 96 or 72 ppi. Mac and Windows have slightly different Resolutions, 72 and 96 respectively. As long as you are close to one of these numbers, you will be fine. I use either one at any given time.
If you were going to print an image or graphic, then you would need to change the resolution to 300 ppi and use a TIFF format.
The most common image file types include the following:
These are bitmap images, which means they are made of pixels. When we resize a bitmap image, we are not changing the number of pixels in the image. Instead, we are stretching or shrinking the pixels. As such, this leads to distortion. And, over time with every resize and save cycle, the image degrades. (always save the original image somewhere other than in your web site!!)
Because bitmaps are made up of pixels, they are Resolution-Dependent. If you could change the number of ppi (pixels per inch), you would change the quality of an image.
