Avoid Common Mistakes When Re-Designing Web Pages

Tip #1

The most important tip I want to give you right now is this:  DO NOT Change the Names of Your New Web Pages!!  You will lose all page rank, age, standings in search engine results pages, etc.

HOWEVER...........  if you must change the name of a web page, please be sure to create a 301 permanent redirect.  You can usually do this within your web hosting control panel.
