How to Insert Flash (.swf) in Expression Web

First, realize there is a huge difference between .fla flash, .flv flash, and .swf flash.

1.  .fla is the extension given to a file that was created with Adobe Flash Professional  software.  This file is not placed on the web page.  Instead, it is linked to the .swf.  (Not all flash movies have a .fla file.)

2.  .flv is the extension given to files that are intended to be streaming videos.  Streaming videos require a content delivery network or a Server such as Flash Media Server.

3.  .swf is the file extension that we are interested in and is the flash we will insert into our web pages.  This type of movie or video is downloaded as you watch it.  (progressive download)

New in Expression Web 2 is the ability to easily and quickly insert Flash Movies, Silverlight, and Windows Media Player.  Just POINT and CLICK.
